Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Software and Application Engineer to serve as the client solutions SME and lead implementations for new partnerships. You will coordinate across clients, delivery centers, recruiting, and sales to ensure delivery-readiness and manage risks and timelines.

The role requires 3–5 years in software development or related fields, a Bachelors in CS/IT/SE, and strong SDLC/Agile, APIs, cloud, and security knowledge. Remote role with night shifts offers opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software Eng or related field.
3–5 years of professional software development, SQA/testing, application support, or related technical field.
3–5 years in a BPO environment.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, APIs, cloud, and security considerations.
Proven ability to lead client-facing conversations and coordinate with dispersed teams during EST hours.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME during client discovery discussions for Software and Application Engineering.
Lead implementations, onboarding, documentation, knowledge transfer, and delivery-readiness for new partnerships.
Coordinate with clients, delivery centers, recruiting, sales, and account teams to manage plans, risks, and timelines.
Partner with recruiting to define roles, craft evaluations, interview candidates, and support delivery training.
Provide post-launch advisory, investigate issues, and recommend corrective actions to optimize software delivery.
