D2B, a pet wellness brand, is seeking a Social Media and E-Commerce Manager for 100% remote work under an Independent Contractor Agreement. You will manage social content and customer engagement while supporting e-commerce operations and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working within a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) E-commerce environment.
• Demonstrated success managing content strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Solid working knowledge of Shopify (or a similar e-commerce ecosystem) for storefront and order management.
• Strong background in e-commerce customer support with a track record of upholding high standards of customer experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail, copy editing, and brand voice.
• Highly organized, proactive self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and maintain a content calendar across key social platforms, specifically Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
• Design and develop basic marketing content, including posts, captions, and visual assets, while maintaining absolute brand consistency.
• Drive page strategy and engagement by monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and community interactions.
• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to optimize engagement and growth.
• Contribute creative inputs to general marketing initiatives, blog posts, and overarching brand campaigns.
• Manage inbound customer inquiries across email, chat, and social helpdesks with timely resolutions.
• Assist with day-to-day Shopify store maintenance, order processing, and platform health.
• Create customer email content and build communication flows to enhance retention and lifetime value.
• Support SEO initiatives and monitor customer feedback trends for issues and opportunities.
• Maintain a calendar of major promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
