Hawksford in the Philippines-based team collaborates with Singapore clients to deliver thorough accounting, tax, and payroll services. You will prepare statutory financial statements, perform month-end closings, and ensure regulatory compliance for Singapore entities, while supporting audits and client communications.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely delivery, and remote teamwork with Singapore-based colleagues. A CPA/CA is preferred and prior Singapore accounting exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred or relevant experience.
• 4–6 years accounting experience; 2–3 years in Singapore accounting and tax.
• Experience in accounting or professional services firms.
• Working knowledge of SFRS, Singapore tax & GST, ACRA and IRAS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of financial statements under SFRS, reviewed by seniors.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, annual bookkeeping for Singapore entities.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and basic variance analysis.
• Prepare Monthly and Annual Management Accounts including balance sheet and postings.
• Prepare XBRL filings for review and submission.
• Assist with consolidated management accounts and financial statements.
• Account for investment holding companies and compute dividends.
• Prepare interest amortisation schedules for long-term loans.
• Account for FRS 116 (Leases).
• Process supplier payments through banking platforms.
• Support statutory audits with documentation.
