Job summary

Geospectrum Marketing Services is seeking a driven Business Development Specialist focused on remote sensing to grow our client audience across mining, forestry, agriculture and aquaculture sectors, working closely with our tech and non-tech teams.

You will develop and monitor sales pipelines, identify and generate new leads, present product demos to potential clients, help finalize contracts, and act as the customer advocate while coordinating with marketing to respond to market needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, engineering, marketing or related.
• Proven record of delivering results with remote sensing products, ideally in Mining, Forestry, Agriculture and/or Aquaculture.
• Good understanding of satellite remote sensing principles.
• Highly motivated and passionate about science-based, sustainable solutions for our country.

Responsibilities

• Develop & monitor our sales pipelines, maturing existing leads
• Identify & generate new leads
• Focus on the completion and success of finalising new contracts
• Build your network to develop and connect with new potential customers and acquaintances within our sector
• Present demos to potential and existing clients and product lead
• Act as our customer representative for new clients
• Communicate regularly with marketing and remote sensing teams to sync with market needs and our capabilities
