Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd seeks a highly experienced Senior Manager Accountant based in the Philippines to oversee the bookkeeping team for Australian clients. This is a remote, independent contractor engagement aligned with AU business hours.

You will review and guide the team, ensure accuracy and compliance, and provide senior accounting support, using Xero and Excel, with strong Australian tax knowledge and client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in senior accounting or bookkeeping management.
• CPA qualification required; Philippine CPA acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation.
• Proficient in Xero and Excel.
• Experience reviewing financial records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the Philippines-based bookkeeping team.
• Review client portfolio bookkeeping for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct quarterly balance sheet reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Provide high-level accounting support and coaching to the team.
• Maintain client relationships and clear communication with clients.
• Use Xero and Excel for review, analysis, reporting.
• Understand Australian accounting and tax requirements for clients.
