Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant based in the Philippines to support multiple Australian client accounts. You will handle payroll, AP/AR, month-end close, reconciliations, and compliance, working closely with the CFO/Director for reporting.

The role is remote and contracted directly by the client as an Independent Contractor, with alignment to AU business hours and flexible time management. Strong Xero experience and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' bookkeeping/accounting experience, ideally in a multi-client practice.
• Knowledge of Xero (MORE+ is a Xero-certified practice).
• Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple clients.
• High attention to detail, especially in reconciliations.
• Strong written and spoken English for client and CFO communication.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing for multiple clients with timesheet data and STP reporting.
• AP management: bill entry, approvals, supplier reconciliations, and payments.
• AR management: invoicing, debtor follow-up, and AR ledger maintenance.
• Month-end close for multiple clients, including accruals and journal entries.
• Balance sheet reconciliations for bank, credit card, loans, GST/PAYG, and superannuation payable.
• Intercompany processing and eliminations where required (not essential).
• GST/BAS compliance support.
• Client reporting and ad hoc analysis; provide data to CFO/Director.
• Maintain up-to-date records in Xero and client platforms.
