Job summary

Carnival Corporation & plc in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist based in Metro Manila. You will enter payment data from vendor invoices into the AP system, ensure timely payments, and support the AP Supervisor with daily control activities.

Responsibilities include processing wire entries, assisting with transfers to GL, preparing AP reports, month- and year-end closing tasks, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• 3+ years experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting role preferred.
• Experience with Oracle and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional business presence.

Responsibilities

• Enter payment data from vendor invoices into the AP system accurately and promptly.
• Ensure timely vendor payments and assist with daily transfers to the GL and variance reporting.
• Prepare AP control reports (aging, duplicates checks, holds) and assist with month-/quarter-/year-end closing tasks.
• Collaborate with AP leaders during audits and coordinate with other departments to resolve payment issues.
