Job summary

DemandScience, a global company providing AI-analytics and data intelligence, seeks an experienced Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient operations. You will manage A/P, A/R and G/L for multiple entities, reconcile accounts, generate reports, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in general accounting, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of Xero and Netsuite. CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline preferred.
• 3-4 years General Accounting experience.
• 3-4 years experience with A/P, A/R and G/L functions.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Conditional formulas).
• Knowledge of Xero and Netsuite.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee A/R, A/P and G/L functions for multiple entities.
• Review IOs, process and print invoices and credits with proper coding.
• Respond to A/R related emails and inquiries.
• Perform client reconciliations and correct billings.
• Maintain G/L accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile monthly billing with Netsuite and postings to NS.
• Prepare and audit financial reports including asset depreciation.
• Analyze variances and coordinate with CS to resolve discrepancies.
• Audit Navan expenses and post reimbursements.
• Manage partner costs, accruals and reconciliations.
• Oversee fixed asset bookings and depreciation.
• Oversee commissions, payroll reports and adjustments.
• Mentor junior staff and drive process improvements.
