Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a diligent Accountant to support a growing multi-location retail business from the Philippines. You will handle the full accounting cycle, including AP, payroll support, fixed assets, and revenue posting, while ensuring accurate recordings and timely reconciliations.

You will collaborate with senior accounting leadership in a fully remote setup, handling vendor management, tax returns, and month-end close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, expense coding, and vendor management.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience using QuickBooks Online or similar accounting platform.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage recurring workloads and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Comfortable working remotely with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Handle full accounting cycle for a multi-location retail company, including daily processing and month-end close support.
• Manage Accounts Payable, vendor coding, and reconciliation with general ledger.
• Post daily sales and reconcile POS totals for multiple channels (store locations and ecommerce).
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns by location; maintain filing calendars.
• Assist with payroll data gathering, payroll journal entries, and expense reports.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries.
• Support general ledger month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Create and maintain reconciliation trackers and structured financial reports.
