Job summary

Vivant is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Technology Support Specialist to manage and troubleshoot Toast POS, online ordering, back-office software, and Microsoft 365 across multiple restaurant locations. You will work remotely with restaurant teams, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors to resolve problems from diagnosis to resolution.

You will play a key role in opening new locations, configuring POS hardware, menus, and permissions, and ensuring systems are ready for go-live.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on restaurant technology support experience.
• Strong Toast POS administration with menus, modifiers, hardware, and permissions.
• Experience with Olo, Restaurant365, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience supporting a restaurant opening or POS deployments.
• Independent troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Toast POS and related hardware.
• Support online ordering and system integrations (Olo, POS integrations).
• Manage Microsoft 365 accounts and security.
• Set up new restaurant locations and go-live readiness.
• Own tickets from reporting to resolution and document solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors when needed.
