Study.com is seeking a skilled Reddit Community Moderator for Online Education to monitor subreddits, engage in discussions, and realistically highlight the site’s value. This is a fully remote contract with hourly pay for contractors.

The role requires at least 2 years of Reddit experience or equivalent community engagement, strong writing, and the ability to maintain authentic, helpful interactions over time. Flexible, remote work is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven Reddit engagement or 2 years in other platforms.
• Deep familiarity with Reddit norms, etiquette and moderation practices.
• Excellent writing with a natural, conversational tone.
• Understanding of how engagement affects brand visibility and AEO.
• Self-motivated and capable of long-term remote work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor relevant subreddits for discussions related to our brand and products.
• Participate in Reddit discussions with helpful, informative responses that highlight Study.com's value.
• Build a credible, trusted presence across relevant subreddits through consistent engagement.
• Identify trending topics, pain points, and questions in online education to inform engagement.
• Track brand mentions across Reddit and respond to inquiries, reviews, and comments promptly.
• Flag negative sentiment, misinformation or competitor mentions to the team for escalation.
• Submit daily activity logs with links to posts, comments and interactions.
• Provide weekly performance summaries highlighting wins, challenges, and recommendations.
