Job summary

NexusPoint is seeking a highly experienced Bookkeeper with advanced QuickBooks expertise to manage end-to-end bookkeeping for a US client from a remote PH location. You will maintain financial records, generate reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure clean data.

Responsibilities include P&L updates, income allocation, and financial analysis, with experience in Boulevard or similar platforms. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as Virtual Assistant or Bookkeeper supporting executives.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience considered.
• Advanced QuickBooks proficiency, including custom reports and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Boulevard or similar healthcare platforms.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for financial tracking and data imports.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Industry experience in Restaurants or Hotels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize financial records using QuickBooks Online/Desktop.
• Edit formats, customize reports, and correct entries.
• Prepare, update, and interpret monthly/quarterly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Regularly reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts.
• Review transactions and ensure proper income/expense categorization.
• Set up and manage chart of accounts based on business needs.
• Allocate income into brackets for clear tracking and reporting.
• Continuously update the P&L to reflect latest activities.
• Input data from Boulevard for revenue, payments, and other activities.
• Recommend optimizations in financial processes or bookkeeping structure.
• Familiarity with Core Pay Card for payroll or contractor payments (nice to have).
