Job summary

Ramp Remote (Formerly Amped Outsourcing) is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support sales and project teams globally. The role involves take-offs, BOM creation, and progress reporting across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical projects.

You’ll work with plans from Planswift, Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks, leveraging strong Excel/Sheets skills, seismic bracing knowledge, and a proactive mindset to manage multiple projects effectively.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, estimating, or a related field.
• Exposure to construction or engineering projects, preferably in MEP sectors.
• Strong MS Excel and Google Sheets skills; familiarity with cost planning.
• Experience with Take-offs, BOMs, progress reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform take-offs for pipework, ductwork, and fire protection systems.
• Assist in electrical cable containment and seismic bracing take-offs.
• Estimate building services support for MEP and fire protection trades.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for multiple projects.
• Support sales with data entry, documentation, and call notes.
• Compile progress reports and project documentation.
• Maintain organized records of client interactions and project activities.
• Collaborate with senior team members to ensure timely outputs.
