Workflow & Key Responsibilities
1. Site Inspection & Technical Scoping
- Conduct site visitations and physical inspections to evaluate existing site conditions.
- Receive qualified leads/initial inquiries handed off by the Sales and Customer Support team.
- Coordinate closely with the Operations team to establish the feasible Scope of Work (SOW) based on technical site constraints and specific client requests.
2. Drawing Extraction, BOM & BOQ Preparation
- Partner with the AutoCAD Operator to review layout plans and extract precise technical estimates, device counts, and linear cabling/conduit runs.
- Prepare comprehensive itemized Bills of Materials (BOM) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) reflecting the verified site conditions and technical requirements.
- Assist with price references for items; endorse finalized BOMs to the Account Officer, who will verify item costs and handle final cost preparation.
3. Technical Client Support & Reporting
- Address and assist clients with technical concerns and structural/system queries only (commercial proposals and cost presentations are strictly handled by Sales/Account Officers).
- Prepare and submit a monthly report tracking all created Request for Proposals (RFPs) / technical estimates generated.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (CE) or Electrical Engineering (EE).
- Experience: At least 1 year of combined experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, or Site Inspections (prior exposure to Auxiliary Systems, MEPFS, or Low-Voltage Systems is a strong plus).
Core Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, and Electrical drawings alongside AutoCAD Operators is a plus but not required.
- Practical knowledge of conducting site surveys for containment paths, device placements, and scope determination.
- Strong technical communication skills to address client inquiries on engineering and installation specifics.
Software: Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel (Advanced), and estimation/plan-reading software.
