Job summary

Colebuild Pte Ltd, a New Zealand-owned construction company, seeks a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our offshore team in the Philippines. The role centers on estimation, project take-offs, and field communication for domestic and commercial projects.

Work will primarily involve commercial and residential buildings with a remote setup. This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree in Civil, Hydraulics or Mechanical (Licensed).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction with international exposure.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Planswift, AutoCAD or similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Gather, compile, and review tender package data for estimates.
• Prepare accurate estimates of activities, quantities, materials, and labor.
• Ensure profitability through correct pricing and analysis of drawings.
• Liaise with clients to clarify project requirements and with project managers for execution.
• Prepare as-built plans and assist with RFIs and clarifications as needed.
