Job summary

Cosy Hauz is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic property development team in the Philippines. You will review construction drawings, prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates, and help develop accurate project budgets while negotiating with contractors and vendors.

You will manage two projects simultaneously, coordinate with site managers and stakeholders, ensure health and safety compliance, and support development financing with cost analyses and procurement planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and project management.
• Strong ability to interpret and analyze architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with UK building regulations, standards, and codes of practice is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings and specifications to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and material requirements.
• Prepare pre-construction documentation, including project budget, schedules, procurement plans, contracts, and other essential documents prior to project commencement.
• Collaborate closely with site managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
• Manage and monitor two projects simultaneously, providing regular progress and status reports to stakeholders.
• Oversee material sourcing and procurement processes, including vendor coordination, negotiation, and cost analysis.
• Manage utility applications and liaise directly with utility providers for new service connections, system upgrades, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and promote safe working practices on site.
• Prepare feasibility and cost analyses to support development financing and coordinate with the finance team during project fund drawdowns
• Provide cost-effective recommendations and identify opportunities for process or design improvements to enhance project performance.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
