Job summary

Colebuild Pte Ltd, a leading construction company, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Studio in West Jakarta and collaborate with our HQ in Singapore. This full-time role focuses on overseeing financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost effectiveness.

You will prepare cost estimates, negotiate contracts, monitor project costs, and assist senior staff with progress claims, variations, and final accounts while ensuring compliance and driving

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• 2–3 years of experience in landed housing Re-built/A&A/Renovation projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and quantity surveying principles.
• Proficiency in using quantity surveying software (eg. Bluebeam) and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Negotiating and administering contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Assisting Seniors on monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process.
• Preparing and analyzing progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Providing expert advice and support to the project team on commercial and contractual matters.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborating with the QS team and project team to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project efficiency.
