BruntWork is seeking a Property Trust Accountant to manage financial operations for residential properties. The role covers trust accounting, owner disbursements, reconciliations, deposit compliance, and month-end close for both short-term and long-term rentals.

The position requires experience with Australian real estate agency finances, strong reconciliation skills, and proficiency in Xero with advanced Excel.

Competenze

• Australian real estate agency experience in property-related financial operations.
• Residential property trust accounting experience including reconciliations, owner/guest fund handling, disbursements, deposit management, and controls.
• Experience in rental operations and understanding of tenant/guest payment flows and owner statements.
• Strong accounting fundamentals including reconciliations, AP/AR, deposit compliance, and month-end trust close.
• Experience in automated finance environments with attention to detail when reviewing exceptions.
• Proficiency with Xero or similar accounting software, and advanced Excel for variance analysis and reporting.

Mansioni

• Owner bill and payout review before trust disbursements to ensure accuracy.
• Workflow oversight of automated payments, reconciliations, and exception handling.
• Monitor pre-arrival balances and action outstanding guest balances.
• Manage deposit handling, refunds, and related trust accounting processes.
• Own month-end close reviews, controls, reconciliations, and reporting outputs.
• Respond to guest inquiries related to invoices, balances, and payments.
• Understand long-term payment plans and perform necessary accounting actions.
