Apply Superstaffjobs is seeking a Property Accountant to support lease and property accounting for multiple locations. The role reports to the Associate Director of Property Accounting and involves Sage Intacct data handling, rent and CAM reconciliations, and timely payments.

Responsibilities include month-end close tasks, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit support. Strong Excel skills and lease document interpretation are essential for success in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably property/lease/real estate.
• Strong understanding of lease administration, rent escalations, CAM reconciliations, and property tax processing.
• Experience with month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and audit support.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; ability to read lease and purchase documents.

Responsibilities

• Read lease documents and determine required actions.
• Calculate rent increases and prorations with landlords.
• Upload lease documents into Sage Intacct and ensure data accuracy.
• Upload monthly rent bills into Sage Intacct accounting system.
• Review CAM reconciliations and coordinate with landlords for updates.
• Process monthly rent payments and track property taxes.
• Prepare monthly accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support year-end close and respond to audit requests.
