Apply Superstaffjobs is seeking a Property Accountant to handle lease and property accounting for multiple locations. You will work under the Associate Director of Property Accounting, supporting month-end close, rent calculations, CAM reconciliations, and tax processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in property accounting or lease accounting.
• Strong understanding of lease administration, rent escalations, prorations, CAM reconciliations, and property tax processing.
• Experience with month-end close activities, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and audit support.
• Ability to read and interpret lease agreements, legal documents, and purchase agreements accurately.
• Experience using accounting systems and lease/property management platforms such as Sage Intacct or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret lease documents and purchase agreements to determine actions.
• Calculate and communicate rent increases and prorations with landlords.
• Upload lease documents into Sage Intacct and verify data accuracy.
• Record monthly rent bills into Sage Intacct.
• Review CAM reconciliations and coordinate with landlords on data and corrections.
• Process rent payments via Wells Fargo ACH portal.
• Track property tax payments and coordinate approvals.
• Communicate lease accounting changes to stakeholders and landlords.
