Job summary

Outsourced offers a home-based accounting role focused on commercial property accounting. You will handle general ledger close, monthly reports, CAM reconciliations, leases, and annual budgets, collaborating with property managers and auditors from a remote home setup.

We require a BA in accounting with 5+ years' experience in property accounting; CPA or master's is a plus. Strong Excel, Yardi/MRI knowledge, and budgeting software skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in accounting with 5+ years in commercial property accounting.
• CPA or Master's degree is a plus and highly desirable.
• Proficiency in GL close, CAM, leases accounting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries with an understanding of the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly operating reports for each building with property staff.
• Perform account analysis on income and expenses.
• Prepare capital expenditure reporting for completed projects.
• Assist audits and work closely with auditors and Tax Director.
• Manage budgets and lease administration alongside property managers.
