Job summary

ScalableOS is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Voice & Telephony to partner with sales and customers, translating business needs into technical Mitel-based voice solutions. You will design, quote, and present UC telephony architectures, while supporting pricing and proposals.

You will engage in discovery, craft compelling demonstrations, and collaborate with engineering to ensure feasible and scalable deployments. Strong communication and Mitel expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Presales/Solutions Engineer/SSE or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience with voice and telephony infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Mitel voice platforms and services.
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with technical quoting, solution configuration, or pricing.
• Nice to have: Mitel certifications; ConnectWise familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and solution specialists to support the full pre-sales cycle.
• Engage with customers to understand business, telephony requirements, and constraints.
• Conduct discovery sessions and identify customer needs and opportunities.
• Design and recommend voice, telephony, and UC solutions.
• Translate requirements into practical technical solutions and BOMs.
• Prepare proposals, pricing, and statements of work.
• Present solutions to customers via video meetings and demos.
• Support pricing, licensing, and implementation discussions.
• Demonstrate Mitel knowledge and ensure feasibility with teams.
• Maintain current Mitel tech knowledge and industry trends.
