Job summary

Sharesource is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality BI reports and dashboards. You will translate business needs into performant Power BI solutions with robust data models and DAX calculations.

Work with data, analytics, and stakeholders to ensure trusted insights, implement Row-Level and Object-Level Security, and integrate with Databricks SQL Warehouses. This remote role requires local Philippines residency for onsite activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in BI report development.
• At least 2 years’ hands‑on Power BI professional experience.
• Expert in Power BI report design (interactive/analytical, paginated and dashboards), with DAX (including time intelligence) and data modelling best practices.
• Experience implementing RLS and OLS in BI solutions.
• Familiarity with Power BI Service administration.
• Experience integrating Power BI with Databricks, Databricks SQL Warehouses and curated data layers.
• Proficiency with Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.
• Good understanding of Git-based development workflows and exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience developing/managing BI reports/dashboards related to finance.

Responsibilities

• Power BI report development including interactive dashboards, paginated reports, and KPI tiles.
• Develop and maintain robust DAX measures, time intelligence and context-aware calculations.
• Ensure performance, usability, and consistency across reports.
• Implement Row-Level and Object-Level Security (RLS/OLS).
• Integrate BI solutions with Databricks SQL Warehouses and curated data layers.
• Model data efficiently and align to best practices.
• Utilize Tabular Editor and DAX Studio for optimization and development.
• Manage Power BI Service assets, workspaces, datasets, and refresh schedules.
• Follow Git-based workflows for version control and deployment.
• Support governance, documentation, and development standards.
• Optional: exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate to support workflows.
