Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that drive business insights.

You will gather requirements, build data models, implement DAX calculations, and integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring data accuracy and governance. Collaboration with stakeholders and ongoing optimization are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS/Statistics/Maths/Analytics or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and data modeling concepts.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to translate data into meaningful insights and reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models, datasets, and reporting frameworks to support business decision-making.
• Create and maintain DAX calculations, measures, KPIs, and Power Query transformations.
• Connect, integrate, and manage data from multiple sources including databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Monitor report performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, analysts, and technical teams to understand reporting needs.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide ongoing support and enhancements.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and technical specifications.
