Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Power BI Developer to design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for the Philippines-based team. You will translate business requirements into meaningful insights, develop data models, and implement DAX, Power Query, and data connections across sources including databases and cloud platforms.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in Power BI, strong SQL, and excellent communication to collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and data modeling concepts.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data transformation, and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

As a Power BI Developer, you will:

• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise-scale reporting environments.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or other data analytics tools.
• Experience with data governance, security models, and row-level security (RLS) in Power BI.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics architectures.
• Experience building executive dashboards and KPI reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
