Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Physician Scheduler to coordinate operational support and assist Physician Advisors, clients, and management. The role involves scheduling, records maintenance, and interdepartmental communication across phone, email, and virtual meetings.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of administrative and medical terminology experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a focus on HIPAA and information security standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of administrative experience required.
• 1-2 years of medical terminology knowledge required.
• Knowledge of healthcare administration a plus.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule peer-to-peer calls with medical insurance payers and Physician Advisors.
• Update payer contact activity and scheduling status within the Physician Advisory Portal.
• Maintain client, Physician Advisor, and contact records across internal systems.
• Coordinate communication between Physician Advisors, payers, and clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Support onboarding of new Physician Advisors, including documentation, equipment coordination, and training logistics.
