Job summary

Career Team is seeking a Payroll Manager for a remote role based in Manila, PH, to lead accurate, timely payroll processing across the organization. The position requires deep knowledge of payroll principles, tax regulations, and US payroll practices, overseeing the full payroll cycle from time collection to filings while ensuring compliance and data integrity.

The role operates from 10:00pm to 7:00am PHST and offers an HMO plan, paid holidays, and 15 days of paid time off, with opportunities

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete payroll cycle, including collecting and verifying time and attendance data from various sources (e.g., time clocks, timesheets, online systems).
• Calculate gross pay, deductions (taxes, benefits, garnishments), and net pay.
• Process payroll through the company's payroll system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Generate payroll reports and distribute pay stubs to employees (electronically or physically).
• Manage off-cycle payroll runs (e.g., bonuses, terminations).
• Ensure accurate processing of various pay types (hourly, salary, commission, bonus, overtime, holiday pay, PTO).
• Maintain meticulous payroll records and documentation in accordance with legal and company requirements.
