Job summary

Career Team Enterprises is seeking a senior Payroll Systems & Tax Manager based in the Philippines to lead and scale our payroll operations for 15+ US states. You will own US multi-state payroll and tax compliance while building a PH-based payroll team and reporting to the VP of Human Resources.

You'll oversee ADP Workforce Now (or equivalent), ensure accurate tax filings, and drive process improvements to create scalable, audit-ready payroll operations that align with US business hours.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of US multi-state payroll experience, with leadership exposure.
• Experience building or scaling a PH-based payroll team.
• Deep expertise in US multi-state tax compliance (SUTA/FUTA, FICA, W-2/W-3).
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
• Strong written and verbal English communication for US stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a PH-based payroll team, building a high-performance function.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll for 15+ US states and tax compliance.
• Lead tax registrations, filings, and reconciliation across state jurisdictions.
• Own payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now) for integrity and optimization.
• Manage notices, garnishments, and year-end reconciliations (W-2/W-3).
• Deliver executive payroll reporting to the C-suite and drive process improvements.
