DOXA Talent, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Accountant & Compliance Specialist in the Philippines (Remote). This role focuses on payroll tax administration, state registrations, SUTA maintenance, and W-2 processing across multiple states.

The position supports regulatory compliance, year-end reporting, and serves as the primary backup to the Senior Payroll Tax Accountant. Strong English (B2+ / C1) and multi-state knowledge are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• 2+ years of payroll tax, payroll compliance, or related experience.
• Experience with SUTA account setup and state payroll tax registrations.
• Experience handling tax notices and agency correspondence; W-2 processing.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain SUTA accounts and state withholding registrations and process tax account updates.
• Support tax account setup for new clients and state expansions; monitor tax rates.
• Monitor and respond to routine tax notices and manage agency correspondence.
• Coordinate annual W-2 processing, review employee wage and tax data, and assist year-end reporting.
• Serve as backup to Senior Payroll Tax Accountant during quarter- and year-end tasks.
