MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is a leading outsourcing company located in the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines. We are seeking an Accounting Specialist / Payroll Coordinator to manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable and general accounting tasks using Excel and QuickBooks.

The role involves processing bi-weekly payroll, maintaining records, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in payroll, AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prior experience processing payroll.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Payroll administration: bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Review time records, payroll information, deductions, and adjustments.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure accurate payroll-related entries.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure payroll information is accurate and complete.
• Calculate commissions payable and payroll amounts for many employees with different compensation plans.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Record, review, and reconcile financial transactions.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and accounting schedules.
• Review transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and other accounting-related projects.
• Support the accounting department with additional responsibilities as needed.
