Job summary

GUS Education Business Process Solutions and Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Payment Officer to manage accounts payable, supplier payments, and reconciliations in a hybrid setup with onsite work in Quezon City.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience in transactional finance and strong Excel skills. You will handle P2P processes, supplier payments, cashbook maintenance, and bank reconciliations while supporting audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• 2–4 years in accounts payable, supplier payments, transactional finance, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of purchase-to-pay (P2P) processes and goods/receipts.
• Hands-on experience setting up and managing supplier payments.
• Experience maintaining cashbooks and bank reconciliations.
• Proficient with Excel and accounting systems.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders including senior management.
• Experience with foreign currency invoices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor P2P and expense processes and assist non-finance colleagues.
• Set up and manage supplier payments accurately and on time.
• Maintain daily cashbook and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end audits and uphold internal controls.
• Collaborate with head office and finance teams to improve processes.
