Job summary

D2B is seeking a remote Bookkeeper in the Philippines to support New Zealand clients with meticulous Xero bookkeeping, GST and payroll tasks. You will manage daily records, ensure compliance, and provide timely financial data to help business owners make informed decisions.

This role requires at least five years NZ bookkeeping experience, proficiency with Xero and related apps, strong English communication, and the ability to work NZ hours from a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Hold a formal bookkeeping or accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years NZ bookkeeping experience with GST returns.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience using Xero.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Xero records across client accounts with GST accuracy.
• Handle Accounts Payable/Receivable and organize bills via Xero hub docs or Dext.
• Prepare monthly reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, cash summaries, and aged AR/AP.
• Process payroll, configure payroll software, onboarding forms, and contracts.
• Audit GST and PAYE returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal team professionally.
• Record billable time in six-minute increments; maintain Asana workflows.
