MicroSourcing seeks a NOC / MSP Support Engineer to join our remote team in the Philippines. You will diagnose and resolve first‑level technical issues via phone, email, chat, and remote access, supporting US-based clients in a Managed Service Provider environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of end-user IT support, strong knowledge of Windows/Microsoft 365, networking basics, and hands-on backup experience with Acronis, Datto, StorageCraft or Veeam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in end-user IT support within a US-based MSP.
• Hands-on experience with backup solutions: Acronis, Datto, StorageCraft, or Veeam.
• Proficient in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and networking basics.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.
• Familiar with MSP tooling (ConnectWise Manage, N-able) and proactive monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for technical support via phone, email, chat, and remote access.
• Troubleshoot desktop, application, email delivery, routing, server, network, and firewall issues in small to mid-sized environments.
• Handle tickets endorsed by the North American team and respond to issues detected by monitoring systems.
• Monitor and remediate NOC alerts, client backups, and patching activities across client systems.
• Facilitate Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) tests to ensure data protection and continuity.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support/escalation teams.
• Maintain service reliability by monitoring system performance and addressing potential issues.
