Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Construction & Metal Fabrication Estimator based in the Philippines. This 100% remote role, employed through an EOR, focuses on accurate estimates for architectural metalwork, fabrication, and installation packages for New Zealand projects.

You will collaborate with bid teams, review drawings, and develop detailed cost models, leveraging tools like Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, CostX, AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience in architectural metalwork, structural or miscellaneous steel.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specs and revisions.
• Excellent Excel skills and written/verbal English.
• Self-directed with ability to manage priorities and raise concerns early.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, schedules and tender documentation.
• Prepare digital take-offs and detailed estimates covering materials, cutting, welding, labour, finishes, transport and installation.
• Prepare complete tender documentation with assumptions and exclusions.
• Obtain, review and test supplier quotations against scope.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, production teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain auditable estimating workings and support handover to delivery.
