Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating, preferably residential.
• Experience with Australian construction businesses or Australian-facing roles.
• Familiarity with end-to-end production estimating: RFQs, budgets, and PO management.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup with structured oversight.

Responsibilities

• Review and process jobs released into the production pipeline.
• Issue and manage RFQs to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Follow up on outstanding quotes and ensure timely receipt.
• Prepare and maintain production budgets for each build.
• Issue POs aligned with approved budgets.
• Track and reconcile costs against budgets throughout the build cycle.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and internal team to clarify scope or resolve variations.
• Maintain accurate records in the estimating system.
• Flag cost overruns or procurement issues to stakeholders.
• Check invoices against budgets and determine outcomes for discrepancies.
