Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience as a Civil Estimator in the Australian civil construction industry.
• Experience preparing end-to-end civil tenders independently.
• Strong understanding of Australian civil construction methodologies and estimating practices.
• Proven experience completing detailed quantity take-offs from engineering drawings.
• Ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and tender documentation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare tender submissions that are accurate and commercially sound for civil construction projects.
• Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Complete quantity take-offs and develop detailed cost estimates including labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, transport and overheads.
• Source supplier and subcontractor quotations and negotiate pricing to maximise competitiveness.
• Support pricing updates, tender revisions, and post-tender clarifications.
• Assist with handover of successful tenders to operations.
