Responsibilities include improving billing workflows, tracking DSO, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant processes while collaborating with a remote team and using cloud-based medical billing software.

Qualifications

• Experience focused on medical billing and accounts receivable recovery.
• Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) and payer guidelines.
• Proficiency with EHR and cloud-based medical billing software (Epic, eClinicalWorks, Kareo).
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and a private workspace.
• Strong communication for negotiating with payers and coordinating with a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Billing Workflows: Evaluate current billing systems remotely and implement digital strategies to improve claim submission accuracy and efficiency.
• Accelerate A/R Recovery: Proactively manage aged accounts receivable via phone and digital payer portals.
• Resolve Claim Denials: Identify root causes, file digital appeals, and correct billing errors to maximize reimbursement.
• Financial Reporting: Monitor KPIs like DSO and collection rates; provide regular virtual updates to management.
• Compliance & Security: Maintain HIPAA and data security compliance while working from home.
