Responsibilities

Submit clean medical claims electronically to insurance carriers, Medicare, and private payers daily.
Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to procedures.
Investigate denied claims, correct coding errors, and submit timely appeals.
Post insurance and patient payments, reconcile AR aging, and track outstanding balances.
Answer patient billing questions, set up payment plans, and resolve disputes with high service standards.
Maintain patient privacy and data security per HIPAA.
