Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, benefits, and financial responsibility.
• Contact insurance companies to clarify incomplete or conflicting information.
• Document verification results accurately in the patient’s EHR.
• Receive and organize disability-related and ADA accommodation requests.
• Collect required documents and route requests to the provider or team.
• Track pending requests and follow up to support timely completion.
• Receive, review, and organize FMLA forms and supporting documents.
• Retrieve and organize medical records requests and authorizations.
• Provide patient and telephone support within role scope.
• Create and update office, telephone, and administrative encounters in the EHR.
• Upload forms and supporting documents to the correct patient chart.
• Monitor work queues and assist with scheduling and data entry.
