Job summary

D2B is a New Zealand construction enterprise actively delivering residential builds, renovations, and extensions. We seek an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to own pricing, cost planning, and tendering across diverse projects.

You will manage end-to-end estimates from plans and specs, build detailed BOQs, evaluate risks, and drive margin improvements. Proficiency in Excel and NZ pricing is essential; English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in residential/general building.
• Deep knowledge of construction methods and pricing in New Zealand.
• Ability to read and take off complex drawings.
• Strong Excel proficiency; familiarity with estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tendering across residential and landscaping projects.
• Prepare BOQ and cost breakdowns; manage value engineering.
• Maintain tender tracking and improve margins.
• Improve processes with cloud estimating tools.
