Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Vert.x to develop high-performance reactive applications for real-time workloads. You will leverage event-driven, non-blocking architectures to ensure scalability while maintaining a lightweight JVM footprint.

You'll design microservices, utilize the Vert.x Event Bus for distributed communication, and optimize worker verticles for long-running tasks in a remote, globally distributed team. Strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Java development.
• Proven expertise in building high-performance reactive applications using Eclipse Vert.x.
• Deep understanding of event-driven, non-blocking programming and asynchronous patterns.
• Strong background in developing and optimizing Java applications for real-time workloads.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
