BairesDev is seeking a Java Modernization Engineer to transform legacy applications into scalable microservices. You will lead refactoring of legacy code and design secure RESTful APIs while advancing CI/CD practices.

This role offers 100% remote work and a chance to impact global-scale projects. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in software engineering, experience with Java or .NET, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

4+ years of Software Engineering experience with Java or .NET stacks.
Experience modernizing legacy monoliths into microservices.
Experience designing RESTful APIs and service communication.
Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
Strong understanding of software decomposition and modern architectural patterns.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Architect and decompose legacy monoliths into microservices.
