Job summary

GoTeam is seeking an IT Operations Support Specialist to act as the embedded IT extension for a US-based manufacturing and distribution company. You will handle Tier 1 support, identity management, asset tracking, and knowledge base creation to scale IT operations across North America.

The role emphasizes methodical troubleshooting, strong written communication, and ownership of end-to-end tickets, with night shifts 8:00 PM–5:00 AM and remote work from the Philippines.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of IT support, service desk, or IT operations.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows endpoints and common business apps.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, networking basics, VPNs, and device lifecycle.
• Proven ability to document solutions and build KBs.

Responsibilities

• Tier 1 support and ticket ownership across the IT queue.
• Initial troubleshooting for Windows endpoints, printers, and apps.
• Manage identity and access requests including MFA and licenses.
• Asset management and IT purchasing coordination.
• Coordinate with MSPs and vendors to ensure escalations are resolved.
• Develop knowledge base articles and SOPs.
