Boomering is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations from a work-from-home setup in Angeles City. You will manage AP, AR, reconciliations, and reporting using Xero, while ensuring tax compliance including DST and internal controls.

The role focuses on accurate transaction recording, timely payments, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external accountants. The ideal candidate will improve processes with automation and maintain strong financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Hands-on experience in AP, AR, payment processing, bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Xero for bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations and reporting.
• Knowledge of tax compliance including DST and spreadsheets.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, time management and independence.
• Experience improving accounting processes; familiarity with AI and automation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices with accurate coding and documentation.
• Prepare and complete weekly payment runs.
• Monitor payables, reconcile supplier statements, and update records.
• Prepare customer invoices and monitor receivables; follow up on overdue payments.
• Maintain general ledger and perform bank reconciliations; assist month/year-end closing.
• Support DST reporting and other statutory reports; coordinate with auditors.
