Qualifications

• Experience handling insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Experience with US commercial insurance plans and Medicaid.
• Strong documentation and data-entry skills.
• Professional verbal and written English communication.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple pending cases independently.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and applicable benefits with commercial plans and Medicaid.
• Initiate and track prior authorization requests and follow up on status.
• Identify missing information or documentation to move enrollment forward.
• Review and update patient records in AdvancedMD and related systems.
• Coordinate with front-desk staff to ensure smooth enrollment and scheduling.
• Address backlog and ensure timely case resolution.
