Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Insurance Account Manager to oversee both Commercial and Personal Lines. You will partner with the Agency Principal to manage client portfolios, process policies, COIs, and renewals while maintaining AMS records and carrier submissions.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency with AMS and rating portals. This is a remote, contractor role with a fast start and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing Personal and Commercial Lines insurance.
• Proficient in Agency Management Systems (AMS) and rating portals.
• Attention to detail in documentation and data entry.
• Strong written and verbal client communication.

Responsibilities

• Process policies, endorsements, cancellations, rewrites, and COIs for both lines.
• Maintain accurate client files and logs in the AMS.
• Handle carrier submissions, rate comparisons, and quoting for new/renewal business.
• Drive renewals by re-quoting to ensure coverage and retention.
• Oversee billing, payments, and reconciling commissions and invoices.
• Manage proactive client comms and follow-ups on docs and renewals.
• Provide status reports to the Agency Principal and participate in team meetings.
