Job summary
Hammerjack is seeking a Premium Processing Assistant to manage (re)insurance new and renewal business and endorsements, prepare technical documentation, and liaise with brokers. This remote/hybrid role requires strong attention to detail and cross-team collaboration with the Broker Enablement team.
You will handle filings, data setup in broking systems, and support audits while serving international clients and growing with the company.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in insurance broking or financial services support roles.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
- Process new and renewal (re)insurance business and endorsements.
- Review placement documents for accuracy against correspondence.
- Ensure insurers/reinsurers are on approved security listings.
- Ensure completeness of checklists and accounting forms (premium payable, instalments due date).
- Set up data correctly in broking systems for Debit/Credit Notes and Premium Closings.
- Issue timely and accurate technical documentation (Evidence of Covers, Cover Notes, Addenda).
- Coordinate with Finance to resolve technical queries; maintain records.
- Maintain production/tracking spreadsheets and client/market data.
