Job summary

Yempo is seeking a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer to work from home or in the office. You will develop HVAC plant and duct layouts in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Revit/SketchUp) for a UK-based client focused on energy-efficient homes.

The role requires CAD proficiency, attention to detail, and collaboration with the design team. ISMS compliance, and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software and general drafting
• Strong attention to detail and communication
• Prior experience with HVAC layouts or building services is a plus

Responsibilities

• Attend online meetings with the design team and review sketches, notes, and feedback.
• Develop detailed HVAC plant and ductwork layouts from sketches using AutoCAD (2D) and Revit or SketchUp (3D).
• Prepare planning drawings showing internal and external service routes, penetrations, and plant locations.
• Incorporate design feedback and ensure drawings align with company standards.
• Comply with ISMS policies and organizational information security requirements.
