MicroSourcing is seeking a Mechanical Designer to develop HVAC layouts and documentation for building projects. You will use Revit to create coordinated HVAC designs and perform load calculations and ventilation studies in accordance with applicable codes.

Work from home with night shifts, enabling collaboration with global teams. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on HVAC experience are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Proficiency with Carrier HAP for HVAC cooling load calculations.
• Ability to develop ventilation calculations per codes and ASHRAE.
• Duct sizing and hydronic piping sizing for HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with other MEP disciplines on designs.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on HVAC building systems experience.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate knowledge of building and mechanical codes and standards.
• Use or learn Revit to design and document HVAC layouts.
• Produce HVAC zoning plans with equipment, ducts, and piping layouts.
• Size and route ductwork and hydronic piping per design.
• Coordinate systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and fire protection teams.
• Develop equipment specifications and schedules for projects.
• Prepare HVAC load and ventilation calculations per relevant codes.
