Job summary

Sophos is seeking an experienced HR Manager for the Philippines to partner with local leaders on employee relations, payroll, and lifecycle management. The role involves coordinating with regional HR teams, ensuring policy compliance, and driving engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in payroll, labor law, and organizational change, with a proactive mindset and attention to detail. Local travel to the Manila office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably multinational/tech.
• Experience in a matrix organization with regional/global stakeholders.
• Strong payroll administration experience with coordination with Payroll operations.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine labor laws and local employment practices.
• Self-motivated, independent, with ownership and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance, talent development, and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and regional teams to deliver HR programs and policies.
• Manage sensitive employee relations matters including investigations and grievances.
• Support organizational change while ensuring compliance with labor laws and policies.
• Coordinate payroll inputs with Payroll and HR Operations for timely processing.
• Oversee onboarding, promotions, transfers, and offboarding processes.
